He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the Technische Universität Berlin, a master's degree in Physics from Ruhruniversitaet Bochum, and has studied Neuroscience at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Physics at the University of Sussex.

Mr. vonReventlow has held several executive positions in a variety of industries such as e-commerce, AI, IoT/5G, automotive stacks, edge/cloud computing, and telecommunications. He has been the CPO & CTO for an AI-enabled e-commerce platform and BSS/OSS at MyRepublic and Chief Technology Officer at European primary placement facility (eppf) S.A. Mr. vonReventlow has also held the position of the Group Exec. Product/Technology at Telstra, Chief Product & Innovation Officer and Member of the Executive Committee at Deutsche Telekom AG/T-Mobile, SVP, Core Platform Software at HERE Technologies, VP Software Engineering for mobile devices, Introducing Agile real-time software development at Intel, and Vice President & General Manager, Software Development next-generation products at Avaya/Tenovis TN/Bosch Telekom.
