Simon Zhu is an accomplished product, technology, strategy, and operations executive with over 15 years of experience in innovation and leadership. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Peking University. Simon is a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, making a remarkable impact on every organization he has worked for.

Throughout his career, Simon has incubated and launched consumer-facing and SaaS products such as digital video rights management systems, mobile, video, and TV advertising solutions, and blockchain-enabled media solutions. Additionally, Simon possesses a wealth of domain expertise in the areas of ad tech, digital video, content distribution, and monetization, software as a service (SaaS), big data, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.

Simon has experience as Chief Technology Officer at 1091 Pictures and Streamwise. He was CEO and Co-founder at BitMovio, which is focused on delivering blockchain-enabled streaming video. Simon was also Executive Board Director and SVP of Product Management at Vobile, which provides video content identification, pattern recognition, and forensic watermarking technology. He has also held roles as a student, researcher, and entrepreneur at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and as a research scientist and associate at McMaster University and Corning Incorporated, respectively.
