Thomas Peyser is a seasoned scientific leader with over 20 years of expertise in the development, testing, and commercialization of continuous glucose monitoring systems and artificial pancreas technology. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Physics from New York University, Peyser's experience spans across clinical study design, regulatory strategy and submissions, and strategic product development and innovation in diabetes technology. With a scientific research background in magnetic and laser fusion energy, Peyser has published scientific papers and presented at numerous international scientific meetings. He has also filed 40 patents and has 10 issued patents in diabetes technology.

Peyser has held several executive positions in his career, including Vice President at Dexcom, Vice President of Clinical Affairs at GluMetrics, Inc., and Vice President of Science and Technology at Biolinq. He was also Principal Investigator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Glucose Sensor Project and Director of Technology Assessment at Abbott Diabetes Care. Thomas Peyser currently works as a medical device consultant at Innovative Device Design for Medicine (IDDM) Consulting.
