Julie Bernauer is the Director of Deep Learning Systems Engineering at NVIDIA, where she oversees a team of engineers focused on developing deep learning scale-out and hyperscale platforms. Her experience spans a range of fields including machine learning, data mining, bioinformatics, and structural biology. Julie holds a Ph.D. in Computational Structural Biology and an HDR in Computer Science from Université Paris Sud, where she also earned Master's degrees in Structural Biology and Chemistry. She also studied Master's Degree in Computer Science with a focus on algorithms and computational geometry at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan. Julie's career includes positions as Adjunct Professor at Stanford University, Solutions Architect Manager and Senior Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, Visiting Research Scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Adjunct Associate Professor at Ecole Polytechnique, and more.
