I joined Amazon Honeycode as one of the first two designers. Together with our leadership, we defined and prototyped the product vision and turned it into a product. Amazon Honeycode launched in June 2020.

UX Designer

As a UX designer at Idean, I was working together with some of the most significant clients in Silicon Valley, improving their existing products and designing new concepts. My work included the following tasks: - Collaboratively identifying, clarifying, and reframing the product strategy together with the team and key stakeholders - Planning and conducting field research to develop a deep understanding of the users- Turning research data into a set of personas and recommendations that guide the design - Developing interaction framework and working on interaction details- Assisting in any visual design work

As the UX designer at BetterDoctor, I was leading the design of the consumer product (desktop and mobile), focusing on concept development, interaction design, visual design and overall experience. In addition to design work, I was conducting user tests in order to drive user-centered design approach that also takes into account relevant analytics to support the decision-making.

As a service designer at Dreamdo, I applied my knowledge and skills in areas of concept development and user experience design. My daily tasks comprised of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, user interface production and researching user insights through workshops. My main assignment was designing the service’s iOS mobile application that was launched in 2014. In addition to design work, my responsibilities also covered internal project planning, team work coordination and communication.

Being passionate about services and human-centered design, I first joined Fjord Helsinki as a visual design trainee. After my four-month internship I was promoted to a full-time visual designer position. During my employment at Fjord, I got a unique opportunity to get exposure to various fields where service design can be applied, working with both international and domestic clients. In addition to visual design, I did user experience reviews for mobile applications and participated in business design projects where I did industry benchmarking, gathered user insights and organized client workshops.

In a team of four people, I organized the Accel Roundtable on Entrepreneurship Education (REE) conference, which was hosted by Stanford University. I was responsible for logistics, conference content and marketing planning. My main responsibilities included visual design of marketing material, promotional video, catering and blogs.

During the internship, I led effort to review and revise Centor’s company values to better reflect new strategic objectives. In the process, I conducted workshops with Centor employees to explore and develop existing values. As a result, the project culminated in a fully revised set of values, plus detailed documentation of the development process.

During my internship at Diesel, I have been assisting in the marketing department. Duties included booking, tracking and completing inventories of collection samples, editorial tracking, event planning, marketing, and executing direct mail campaigns.

I was doing project-based work through the agency both as an assistant and as an independent stylist, focusing on commercial shoots. Additionally, I worked as an in-house illustration artist for promotional and marketing campaigns. I have had the chance to take the full responsibility when selecting the styles and working on filming locations, gaining valuable exposure to the creative side of advertising industry.
