Ben Werdmuller is a seasoned entrepreneur, venture capital investor, strategist, and technologist who has spent years building and scaling startups and products. He holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh. With his accomplished track record in diverse roles, Ben strives to help great ventures that promote equality and awareness through his skills and experiences.

Before joining The 19th as Chief Technology Officer, Ben had a thriving career as Head of Engineering at ForUsAll, VP Product Development at Unlock Inc, and Director of Investments at Matter. In these roles, he was responsible for building, scaling, and driving innovation and change in complex environments. Furthermore, he served as Senior Engineer at Medium.com, where he actively developed the platform and infrastructure throughout the company's growth.

As an entrepreneur, Ben co-founded Known, Inc and Elgg, which focused on social media and networking software. As CTO at Latakoo, he led a successful pivot that shifted the company's focus from a video compression tool to a video transfer and management platform. His early experience in web development as a Web administrator at Saïd Business School and Web Developer at The University of Edinburgh made him capable of managing web projects throughout their lifecycle.
