Rui Quinta

Rui Quinta is a co-founder of various innovative ventures including the fish shop Peixaria Centenária, the space experience design studio Toyno, and the transformative design company With Company in Lisbon.

He is actively involved in academia as an invited lecturer at ISEG, teaching Strategic Design, Creativity, and Innovation. Additionally, he imparts knowledge on Design Management and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. Rui has been coaching teams on Design Thinking and Innovation with the Hasso Plattner Institute Academy since 2012.

Rui's passion for sharing knowledge and ideas extends to public speaking engagements where he addresses topics ranging from branding and design to cross-disciplinary innovation. He has graced stages at various international events including TEDx Lisbon, Creative Mornings Lisbon, and Ouishare Fest in Paris.

With a diverse educational background, Rui has studied Design at the University Of Potsdam, Communication Design at Iade - Escola Superior De Design, and honed his skills at the School Of Design Thinking. He has also been affiliated with institutions like Espan - Escola Secundária Padre Alberto Neto, Colégio Vasco Da Gama, and Hasso Plattner Institut.

In his professional journey, Rui has held key positions such as Invited Lecturer at Executive Education focusing on Futures, Strategic Design, and Innovation at IDEFE. He has served as a board member at b.creative, a lecturer at the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, and as a Design Thinking Coach at HPI Academy. Rui's past roles include being the CEO of Peixaria Centenária, and strategic partner at toyno®.
