Barbara Reeves, Esq. is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background that positions her as an exceptional mediator and arbitrator. She began her career with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. before joining three nationally recognized law firms where she successfully handled a range of litigation cases. Later, she served as the Associate General Counsel and Vice President for Southern California Edison and Edison International for seven years. There, she gained valuable knowledge of the "client perspective" and was able to effective represent in matters concerning the California energy crisis. Barbara has since been a full-time arbitrator and mediator at JAMS, The Resolution Experts, where she leverages her extensive legal expertise in commercial disputes, employment, intellectual property, trade secrets, sports and entertainment, antitrust, insurance coverage and healthcare. In particular, she has an interest in equestrian law and has built a specialty in that area.
