Alfonso Higueras Lara is a physician with a wide range of experience in managing various projects that merge medicine with technology and marketing. He studied Grado Superior en Entrenamiento Deportivo, Ciencias del deporte at Federación Castellano Manchega de Esgrima, and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - MBBS, Medicina at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Furthermore, he also pursued a Postgraduate Marketing and digital commerce technician degree at Escuela de Organización Industrial and a Master of Medical Affairs - MAMC, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid at Talento Farmacéutico y Sanitario Business School. Additionally, he studied Master of management and digital transformation in health, Administration/Management of health services at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

He has a keen interest in building, co-creation, process improvement, change management, medical/scientific strategy, and innovation, with a primary but nonexclusive focus in Medical Affairs. Alfonso Higueras Lara's expertise extends to product management, community relationship management, event management, robotics, and fencing sport training. He was formerly a Co-Founder and Product manager of HIOC Labs S.L. and Investo.med, respectively. He also served as a Medical Marketing Diabetes at AstraZeneca and a Médico Preventivo y Vigilancia de la Salud at Quirónprevención. He remains an active member of several organizations, such as Coordinador Hospitalario at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio and Robotics teacher at Club de Educación Tecnológica, among others.
