Haakon Brunell is a well-educated and accomplished professional with a diverse background that includes extensive experience in finance, management, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Norwegian School Of Economics (NHH) and has also studied at Fudan University and University Of Melbourne. His passion for learning has led him to pursue diverse interests, including astronomy, philosophy, and history at the University Of Oslo (UIO).

Brunell's professional journey began as an intern at the prestigious Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA before moving on to become an Analyst and Intern at Norges Bank Investment Management. He later joined McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner, where he honed his skills in management and strategy. Brunell's entrepreneurial drive led him to found Castle Interactive AS, an entertainment and technology company, and later become Co-Founder and Managing Partner and CEO of Katapult Accelerator, a global impact-driven investment fund.
