Pedro Englert is a highly experienced entrepreneur and investor in the Brazilian business scene. He began his career as MK at Petroleo Ipiranga and then spent ten years working for XP Investimentos, where he held the positions of director of marketing and CEO of the InfoMoney portal. In 2016, he joined StartSe as CEO, but later, he stepped down to create the company's executive committee. In addition to his work at StartSe, he is a board member of Junior Achievement Brazil and the Brazilian Fintech Association. Englert is involved in several fintech businesses; as a venture partner or a co-owner, he has an active stake in companies such as Warren, FitBank, Monkey Inc, Vortex, and others. He also invests in other early-stage start-ups, such as BestBerry, PetAnjos, and Fundo Ace. Englert studied business administration with an emphasis on finance at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and completed a postgraduate course in retail and services at the University of São Paulo's Provar program. He is also an alumnus of the Singularity University executive program.
