Paul Velthuis

Paul Velthuis is an experienced Data Engineer with a passion for cloud platforms and innovative technology. Having studied Master of Science in ICT Innovation from Technische Universität Berlin, he went on to pursue a Master's in Cloud Computing and Services from EIT Digital. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor's in Business & IT from Universiteit Twente.

Paul has worked with several organizations, specializing in data engineering and analytics. He currently holds the position of Data Engineer - Process Mining at Zalando SE, where he leverages his expertise in BI Data Analytics tools, process mining tools such as Celonis, and blockchain technology. Before that, he worked as a Data Engineer at GetYourGuide and as a Big Data Engineer at Xomnia.

With a strong background in software development, Paul has worked with companies such as Fortes Solutions and eLABBS. In addition to his professional experience, he has also interned at VIRTENIO GmbH and Jacob Bakker IJzerhandel B.V. Furthermore, he completed his Master's thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT and was a Master's student at KTH - Kungliga Tekniska högskolan.

Throughout his career, Paul has shown a keen interest in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS, where he focuses on maintaining high performance and data quality. His expertise and insights into the field have made him a valuable asset to startups looking to optimize their technology.
