I was initially Editor of the Society Newsletter for the 18 months; in Jan 2012 the first issue of CE Magazine was launched; I have now completed a first 3 year term as editor-in-chief and started into a second term; In August 2012 IEEE CE Magazine was the only IEEE publication to win ann 'Apex Grand Award' for the article: "Repairability smackdown: how do the latest tablet models stack up?"; this highlights the importance of repairability to ensure sustainability for modern CE devices.
