Jukka Nurminen is a renowned computer scientist with an extensive career spanning research, academia, and industry. With a PhD and MSc from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, he has been bridging the gaps between engineering and science, innovation and implementation, and mathematics and ICT. Nurminen is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Helsinki, and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Aalto University School of Science. He has also held various research positions, including Research Professor of Software Engineering and Principal Scientist of Decision Technologies at VTT, and Principal Researcher of Energy and Power Management at Nokia Research Center.
