Balaji Vijayan

Balaji Vijayan is a highly accomplished data science professional, investor, and advisor with extensive experience in various industries. He is a graduate of The University of Texas, Austin's red McCombs School of Business where he obtained a BBA degree in Supply Chain Management and Management Information Systems. He also has a Masters degree in Data Science from the University of New Haven.

Balaji's professional experience began at Shell Oil Company where he interned in contracting and procurement. Afterward, he worked as an intern in the public services department of BearingPoint before joining Quorum Business Solutions as a software development consultant. He later transitioned to Seilevel where he worked as a product manager before subsequently founding Epic America, a music and multimedia production company.

Balaji returned to tech later in his career, working as a Senior Integration Consultant at The Advisory Board Company, Graduate Intern at DocuSign, and finally as Growth Data Scientist at Postmates. He has also held a number of product and technical product manager roles at companies such as Leanplum, Chronicled, and Marqeta Inc. where he was Group Product Manager.

Currently, Balaji is an advisor and Angel and Real Estate Investor at HV Asset LLC. He advises and invests in pre-seed and seed stage companies utilizing modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and web 3, with interests in a wide variety of industries such as agriculture, construction, environment, finance, medicine, and real estate.
