Steve Teo is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a background in Agile Software Development, Cloud Engineering, Build & Release Engineering, and DevSecOps. Steve's rare combination of skills and experience allows him to provide strong engineering and thought leadership in his areas of expertise.

Steve is passionate about helping organizations adopt cutting-edge solutions, architects, and operations in the cloud as well as ChatCloudDevSecOps tooling, practices, and culture. He helps companies rapidly and safely deliver through scalable and highly resilient cloud environments, contributing to the business value chain. Steve's background in Web Scale Architecture, Distributed Systems, Microservices, Serverless Computing, Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps, Build & Release Engineering, Functional Programming, Cryptography, Web Security, and the open-source movement also makes him a vocal evangelist and trailblazer in his fields.

Steve has a comprehensive educational background. He graduated with a Bachelor in Computing (Computer Science) with 2nd Upper Class Honours at the National University of Singapore, where he also earned his Diploma in Information Technology as Valedictorian at Temasek Polytechnic. He also has a 7 Distinctions & 1 Credit from Temasek Secondary School.

Steve is currently the Director of Cloud Security Engineering at Horangi. He is also an active member of the local tech scene and has led the AWS User Group Singapore Meetup and Atlassian User Group Singapore Meetup. He attends other tech meetups and conferences to network with like-minded individuals while also learning and sharing experiences. He has also been inducted into the ASEAN AWS Cloud Warriors and Global AWS Community Hero program.
