Takuma Baba is a highly accomplished and experienced professional with a diverse background in business, investment and law. He has a Bachelor of Law from Keio University and three Master of Business Administration degrees from Columbia Business School, London Business School, and The University of Hong Kong. Baba has worked for various organizations throughout his successful career, including Japan Post Investment Corporation, Startup Leadership Program, Eight Roads Ventures Japan, Simplex Reit Partners, Simplex Investment Advisors, Aetos Japan, Telecom Service, Softbank Telecom Corp, Rhj International Japan, and Morgan Stanley.

Baba has held several key positions throughout his career, including Managing Director of Venture Capital and Growth Equity Investments at Japan Post Investment Corporation, where he was responsible for managing investments in start-ups, growth-stage companies and private equity funds. He also served as a Director and Fellow at Startup Leadership Program, where he helped mentor entrepreneurs and start-up founders. Prior to that, he worked as a Venture Capitalist at Eight Roads Ventures Japan, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities.

Before entering the venture capital industry, Baba worked in various other roles, including Manager of the President's Office at Simplex Investment Advisors and Vice President at Aetos Japan. He has also served on the board of directors of Simplex Reit Partners and Telecom Service, and worked as a Manager in the Corporate Planning Department of Softbank Telecom Corp. Earlier in his career, Baba worked as an Associate at Rhj International Japan and an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley.
