Alexander Nason has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, working in research, policy, clinical, academic, and consulting roles. Nason is a healthcare executive with a passion for innovative approaches to care delivery and program execution within a complex healthcare system. He has directed the development of innovative telehealth programs and services for organizations like Specialists On Call and Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he oversaw the strategic planning, physician development, and implementation of telehealth and distance education programs.

Nason has education credentials in both biology and healthcare administration, having studied at Tulane University, the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Currently, Nason serves as the Director of IT Innovation at Frederick Health, where he aims to lead a team implementing digital solutions across the enterprise. He is focused on making FMH a model for community hospital innovation. In addition to his work at Frederick Health, Nason has also previously served as the Founder of STARTL Health, a Lecturer at Georgetown University School of Medicine and George Mason University - College of Health and Human Services, and a mentor at Blueprint Health LLC.
