Jeffrey Abrams is a highly educated and experienced physician informaticist with expertise in healthcare IT and clinical informatics. He studied Zoology at the University of Maryland College Park before earning his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. With a diverse range of experience, he has worked as a Hospitalist and Nephrologist for various medical facilities, including Virginia Emergency Medical Associates and Bluemont Nephrology Associates. He later transitioned to healthcare IT consulting, where he served as a Health IT consultant for both Fauquier Hospital and Fauquier Physician's Network. He also worked at MEDITECH as their Physician Consultant, using his medical and technical knowledge to improve healthcare systems and technology. Currently, he serves as Physician Informaticist at Fauquier Hospital, where he continues to utilize his expertise in healthcare IT and clinical informatics to enhance patient care and safety.
