Matthew Mellor serves as the Development Director and Fellow at Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he takes charge of raising funds from alumni and companies. He is responsible for leading a team of fundraisers who approach alumni and companies for financial support, partnering with the University network of academics in the College to unlock the "hidden intelligence." Matthew has a talent for motivating donors to support the College for several reasons, and he also finds ways to work with companies on horizon-scanning seminars, project work, recruitment, and executive education.

Matthew has a solid educational background, having completed his MA at the University of Cambridge and his BA/MA in Classics and Modern Languages at the University of Oxford. He has a flair for different languages, having studied Latin, Greek, and French at the Manchester Grammar School.

Apart from his professional background, Matthew has shown enthusiasm for birdwatching, cricket, good wine, and language-learning.
