Andrew Cameron

Andrew Cameron is the Founder and CEO of FeelTect, a start-up company pioneering Tight Alright, the first wearable, connected-health technology designed to measure and monitor sub-bandage pressure during compression therapy, particularly for treating venous leg ulcers (VLUs). Previously, he served as a Project Lead at NUI Galway, spearheading the technical, clinical, and commercial advancement of the Tight Alright technology. He also held roles as a Commercialisation Lead at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), focusing on supporting the innovation process for various medical technologies, and as a Research Fellow at the Tissue Engineering Research Group at RCSI, concentrating on clinical corneal regeneration applications.

With a solid educational foundation, Andrew completed a PhD in Tissue Engineering at the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) at the University of Queensland, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with double majors in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Additionally, he possesses a Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation and a Diploma in BioInnovation, showcasing his profound interest in merging technology and innovation.
