Samuel Guzik is an accomplished corporate and securities attorney with over 30 years of experience advising public and private companies as well as entrepreneurs on a range of business and financing transactions. He is an expert in capital funding, contract negotiation, and deal structuring across various industries, including digital media, health care, and technology. As a seasoned advisor in securities markets, he specializes in assisting startup ventures and development stage companies with access to equity markets. Samuel has represented numerous companies before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and is proficient in assisting public companies with listings, corporate governance, and SEC reporting obligations. He has studied J.D. law at Stanford University Law School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Samuel has previously held positions with Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and founded the Guzik & Associates law firm. He has also served as the Chair and President of the Crowdfunding Professional Association and is currently a faculty member in Alternative Securities Finance at Practising Law Institute (PLI).
