Laurent Séraphin is a highly experienced and accomplished Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a background in software engineering and computer science. He holds a Diplôme National d'Ingénieur (MSc+) in Software Engineering and Computer Science from ESSI- École Supérieure en Sciences Informatiques (Polytech Nice-Sophia), Sophia Antipolis, France.

Laurent has a wealth of experience in marketing and business development, having held senior marketing positions at several technology companies, including Dynatrace, MuleSoft and Docker. His career began with software engineering roles at EMBL, QPSX Communications, and ISIA - École des Mines de Paris.

He started his marketing career at Softway Inc., where he was a Junior Consultant, before progressing to Senior Pre-Sales Engineer at ILOG, OO DBMS Consultant at O2 Technologies, VP Marketing at Dynatrace and Growth Marketing at Docker, Inc. Among other roles, Laurent served as Formerly Senior Director EMEA Marketing at Docker, Inc and Formerly EMEA Product Director at Borland. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Instana.

Laurent's experience is encompassed in his expertise in growth marketing, digital demand generation and product management. His educational background equipped him with the technical knowledge to understand technology products and communicate their benefits to potential customers. He has a passion for technology and has made a career out of making tech products understandable to both the technology-savvy and laymen.
