Yong Zheng

Yong Zheng has over two decades of engineering leadership experience in the software industry. His expertise lies in building innovative and high-performing global teams that help companies grow revenue, increase valuation, and achieve successful exits. He has significant experience delivering high-quality products to wireless operators, mobile device OEMs and enterprise customers, and for financial services. Yong has also deployed data center and cloud solutions that power hundreds of millions of devices across the globe. His proficiencies include agile software development of web applications, mobile applications, analytics and machine learning.

As a Ph.D. graduate in Engineering and having studied MS from Southwest Jiaotong University, Yong's experience spans companies like Edelman Financial Engines, Zephyr, Asurion, InnoPath Software, and Arula Systems to name a few. In his most recent role at Edelman Financial Engines as the Vice President of Machine Learning, Yong led the team responsible for developing, implementing, and deploying ML models that helped optimize financial planning services for households. In his previous roles, he has successfully built and managed software engineering teams, effectively employing agile methodologies and design thinking.
