Adap.tv built the first programmatic technology that made buying and selling video advertising simple and efficient for TV and online video. The company’s products (Adap.tv for Advertisers, Adap.tv for Publishers and the Adap.tv Marketplace) worked in harmony to connect video advertising buyers directly to sellers on a single platform. As European Managing Director at Adap.tv, I was charged with leading the growth of the agency, ad network and publisher partnerships, as well as managing operations across all European markets. I also managed the transition after the company's acquisition by AOL in 2013.

The Media Innovation Group (MIG) was the first Agency trading desk and developed technology products that improved the process of acquiring, optimising, and measuring digital media. B3, MIG’s digital advertising optimisation product, was the leading agency tool for acquiring and optimising display advertising. ZAP, its integrated advertising and analytics tool, gave advertisers unprecedented visibility into the performance of digital advertising campaigns. I held the role of Managing Director for Europe at the Media Innovation Group, a WPP Company. Responsible for the development of the European business, I was also responsible for the integration of automated buying directly by agency media planners into the platform and driving sales, marketing. Prior to this role, I was UK Managing Director of the Media division of 24/7 Real Media.

Focused on developing the publisher network and sales for Lycos Europe GmbH, my primary focus was extending European reach and acquisition of 3rd party inventory for the Lycos portal and sales network. In this position, I increased Lycos Europe’s monthly reach by 30 million unique visitors, negotiated key European deals with leading publishers such as <a href="http://About.com">About.com</a> and <a href="http://IMDb.com">IMDb.com</a>, adding 12 billion ads per year to the Lycos network resulting in Lycos Europe becoming the 5th largest inventory source.

GAME UK is a leading retailer of video games and peripherals the UK. In the year 2000 the company decide to extend the business to begin selling online. I was part of the founding team at GAME UK, this involved setting up the interactive services for SKY Digital TV, BT Digital TV and AOL shopping, other responsibilities included managing the online advertising budget of Game including media buying, creative asset creation and approval and managing ROI from the marketing spend.
