Chris McSwain is a highly skilled and experienced PR practitioner who has worked both in-house and as a consultant for a variety of nonprofits, brands, and national and local organizations. His expertise includes media relations, brand strategy development, crisis communications, social media strategy development, event planning, vendor management, and content production for PR assets, among others. Chris is also a talented writer and editor, with experience in print and web media, and has developed clear communications assets for digital and print use.
Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and English from Hofstra University and a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing from Chatham University. He has worked in several organizations, including Goddard Riverside Community Center, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Project Enterprise, among others. Chris is currently the Director of Community Engagement for North Texas Giving Day at Communities Foundation of Texas, a position he previously held as Senior Officer and Community Engagement Officer. He is also a former Brand Content Writer for William Morris Endeavor/WME Live and has worked in administration for The Sister Fund.
