Michael Laird is an accomplished and highly-educated attorney with a diverse background in law, policy, and government service. He graduated from Kimberly High School before earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, as well as Biology, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on to study Intellectual Property Law, earning a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, and later earned a second Doctor of Law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Laird has held a variety of legal positions throughout his career, including as an Associate at Zimmerman Reed and as a Legal Research Assistant for Professor Thomas Cotter at the University of Minnesota Law School. Additionally, he has held positions as a Law Clerk for Leventhal, PLLC, the Bad River Band of Chippewa Indians Legal Department, and as a Legal Intern for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Laird has also served as a Policy Advisor for the Wisconsin State Legislature and worked as a Constituent Relations Coordinator for Wisconsin State Legislator Bob Jauch.

With a wide range of experience in various aspects of law, policy, and government service, Michael Laird brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the legal profession.
