Felipe Muanis is a highly qualified professional with expertise in Social Communication and Media Culture. He holds a Ph.D. in Television and Cinema from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, complemented by a Postdoc at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and a Doktorarbeit in Medienkultur at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. He has also studied several short courses in Painting Techniques at Chelsea College and Children's Book Illustration at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London.

With over 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, Felipe has worked as an Art Director and Illustrator in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, mostly in cinema and television advertising companies. He has also published several academic articles on cinema and television storytelling, aesthetics, and image, and is the author of three books, including "Audiovisual mundialização: televisão e cinema."

Felipe is a former Visiting Professor in Germany at Universität Paderborn and Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He is currently a Professor and Researcher at Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, where he coordinates the International Master of Audiovisual and Cinema Studies (IMACS) program. He is also a member of the Brazilian Illustrators Society and the Comitê Gestor do Programa Setorial de Formação e Capacitação para o Audiovisual at Superintendência do Audiovisual - Secretaria de Cultura do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
