Joe Rinehart, a Kent State University alumnus, has an impressive background that spans various professional fields. He donated a critical easement to bridge the gap between New Philadelphia and Cleveland on the Ohio & Erie towpath trail. Rinehart is also the founder of Towpath Trail Snack Shack and Peace Park, situated on the historic Ohio-Erie Canal between the village of Bolivar Ballparks and McDonnell Trailheads, which provide primitive tent camping options for visitors of the Greenville Peace Treaty Line, Buckeye Trail, Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Scenic Byway, and Great American Rail-Trail.
Apart from his entrepreneurial ventures, Joe Rinehart has held several positions of leadership and responsibility. He has served as the President of Bolivar-Zoar Rotary Club and Director of GlobalPeace.Net, Inc. In addition, he has held the position of Corporate VP/Secretary at Fairview Memorial Park and Grandview Memorial Park. Furthermore, Rinehart served as an E-3 USMC in H&S Company 3rd Bat 1st Marine Div.
