Trey Shelton is a seasoned entrepreneur, angel investor, and executive recruiter with over 15 years of experience in the startup world. He is widely known for his success in founding and exiting Music Interactive, a rich media platform focused on the digital music industry. After this venture, he expanded his interests to emerging technologies in various areas, including foodtech, cleantech, and Bitcoin. Trey's expertise in executive recruitment was honed during his tenure at Safire Partners as a Partner, where his team placed more than 100 executives in high-growth startups across various industries such as consumer, SaaS, and digital media. Trey moved back to his hometown of Nashville in 2018 and founded Position, aimed at assisting a wide range of emerging companies. He previously acted as a mentor in Techstars Music and held several executive roles, including head of sales at F Sharp. Trey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Vanderbilt University.
