Dr. George Nield is a highly experienced aerospace engineer, space policy expert, and former government official. He has served in various key roles throughout his career, including as the FAA's Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation, Senior Scientist at Orbital Sciences Corporation, and Manager of the Flight Integration Office for the Space Shuttle Program at the NASA Johnson Space Center. Dr. Nield is currently the President of Commercial Space Technologies, LLC, an organization dedicated to promoting commercial space activities. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Science from the USAF Academy, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and an MBA from George Washington University.
