Meet Omar Javaid, a tech industry leader with an impressive background in product development, innovation, and team management. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Qualcomm, Omar has previously held executive positions at companies such as Nexmo (now Vonage API Platform), TiVo, Motorola, Google, and Hewlett-Packard.

Born with a passion for chemistry and biology, Omar studied both subjects at the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Science. He later went on to receive executive education from top institutions such as Stanford University and Harvard Business School.

Omar has also shared his expertise as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche LLP, Director of Technology at Interzine, and Director of Advertising Strategy and Products at MLive, among others. Additionally, he co-founded Mobilocity and IW3D, as well as served on the Board of Directors for TV Guide International IPG Inc.

With a focus on operational excellence, Omar is known for his expertise in strategy planning and implementation, team building and scaling, and partnership development. He has successfully launched products and services on a global scale and remains committed to continuously improving business processes.

Outside of work, Omar has also pursued interests in risk management, hypnotherapy, and coaching. He holds certificates from the Real World Risk Institute and Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy.
