Max Floetotto

Max Floetotto is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company with a focus on serving clients in financial services, specializing in strategy, mergers & acquisitions, distribution, and organization.

He has extensive experience guiding clients through over 40 integrations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, handling every aspect from M&A strategy development and target identification to due diligence and integration planning and execution.

Max plays a key role in leading the banking merger management joint venture on a global scale and oversees McKinsey's fintech practice in Germany.

His expertise extends to being a prolific writer on M&A and banking trends, with academic publications reflecting his intellectual pursuits.

Educationally, Max Floetotto holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Stanford University, has been a Visiting Student at the University of California, Berkeley, and obtained Diplom degrees from the University of Mannheim in Economics and Diplom-VWL.

His professional journey includes various roles at McKinsey & Company, starting as an Intern and progressing to Partner before assuming his current position as Senior Partner.
