Jess Krannich

Jess Krannich is a partner at the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specializing in complex civil disputes as a litigator, trial lawyer, and advisor.

He has extensive experience representing clients across various industries, including life sciences, technology, healthcare, and finance.

Jess handles a wide range of civil litigation such as commercial disputes, intellectual property, products liability, securities, and class action lawsuits.

Having started his legal career at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and subsequently led a litigation boutique in Utah, Jess returned to Kirkland & Ellis in 2021 to establish the firm's Salt Lake City presence.

In addition to his legal practice, Jess serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Utah, teaching trial advocacy and other courses.

Outside the legal realm, Jess enjoys traveling, skiing, fly-fishing, weightlifting, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
