With a Ph.D. in Genetics from Sambalpur University and an MBA in Marketing from Drexel University-College of Business and Administration, he has worked at several prestigious institutions, including the Center for Disease Control, Thomas Jefferson University, and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.

In his roles as Scientist & Lab Manager at KamTek Inc, Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania, and Research Associate at K.C.Pant Hospital and Institute of Cytology & Preventive Oncology, he has led a variety of projects in assay validation/qualification, translational pharmacology, and immuno-pharmacology.
