Luis Azevedo is a purpose-driven leader with over 25 years of experience in the animal protein and industrialized feed markets. He studied at top universities, including Harvard University and Washington University in St. Louis, where he gained essential knowledge of general management and agribusiness. A seasoned veterinarian, Azevedo has worked in the agribusiness sector throughout his career.

At the Yield Lab, a venture capital firm, Azevedo is a Venture Partner, leading initiatives to strengthen innovation in the food and ag-tech ecosystem and increase Latin America's global protagonism as a responsible producer of food, fuel, and materials.

His career at Novus International was fulfilling, serving in several executive roles including Executive Director of Business Development and General Manager for Latin America and Africa. In these roles, he was responsible for managing sales worldwide and leading methionine product development. Azevedo began his career at Pena Branca Alimentos as a Nutritionist, contributing to his experience and expertise.

Living with his family in Campinas, Brazil, Azevedo is a yogi and enjoys spending time under the spectacular sky of Campinas.
