Meet Alex Allison, a seasoned entrepreneur, real estate investor, and growth-marketer. Alex is best known as the founding team member of Dotloop, a revolutionary platform that facilitates real estate deals in the United States. Under his leadership, Dotloop became the fastest growing, most robust B2B brand in the residential real estate industry, and was eventually acquired by Zillow Group in 2015. Today, more than 50% of all residential real estate transactions in the US are facilitated through the Dotloop platform.
Alex brought his entrepreneurial skills, brand-building expertise, and passion for storytelling to Dotloop, spearheading all aspects of growth from inception to acquisition. After the acquisition, his focus shifted to emerging markets, unlocking new channels of business, and developing pioneering product innovations, creating the Dotloop Connect program that now serves as the largest integration ecosystem in the residential real estate industry.
With a background in entrepreneurship and through his extensive experience mentoring early-stage startups and entrepreneurs, Alex launched D. Alexander, a startup advising agency he runs alongside his other advisory and board roles. He is also passionate about distance running, aviation, and travel, and enjoys chasing new destinations and experiences.
Alex holds a degree in Entrepreneurship from Northern Kentucky University, and has served on boards and acted as an advisor to various startups including WineSociety, CPROP, SwitchList, PrivateAcre, Rentl Inc, and many more.
