Alexia Wellons is a seasoned writer, editor, and content strategist with over twenty years of experience in creating, editing, and sharpening content for some of the world's leading brands and industries. She has earned advanced degrees in English literature and screenwriting from the University of Washington and UCLA, respectively. Her career began at Microsoft and Starbucks headquarters as a tech editor and writer. Alexia has published hundreds of film and theatre reviews online, along with numerous magazine articles covering a wide range of travel destinations. After working for Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Creative group, Alexia co-founded Scarlet Letters Copywriting with Shannon Diffner in 2004. She enjoys traveling extensively worldwide, flying hang-gliders over the Alps, and exchanging emails with Peter Jackson and Donald Trump, albeit not together. Alexia presently resides in Portland, Oregon, with her two children, three cats, one dog, and an overabundance of moss.
