Varun Varahamurthy is an accomplished electrical engineer with a background in both academia and industry. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from California State University-Fresno.

Currently, Varun works as an Electrical Engineer at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), where he applies his technical expertise to support various projects. He has previously worked as a Graduate Assistant/Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University, where he shared his knowledge with students, and as a Visiting Research Scientist at STFC, where he gained hands-on experience in a research environment. Additionally, he has served as a Research Intern at CERN, where he worked on cutting-edge experiments in particle physics.

In his early career, Varun worked as a Lead Graphics Developer at Mine Ventilation Services, Inc and as a Web Developer at Henry Madden Library where he expanded his skillset beyond pure engineering.
