Francisco X. Abad, founder of CODEIS and Regional Director at CircleofInt, is an accomplished professional with vast experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, social innovation, and public policy. Abad holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in International Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from East Texas Baptist University. He has also participated in various leadership programs, including the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program at Georgetown University.

Abad has held several positions, such as a Business Analyst at 10EQS, Social Innovation Consultant at Waykana, and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at Grupo FARO. He has also taught Entrepreneurship at Universidad San Francisco de Quito and Universidad de Las Américas (EC) and was the Ecuador National Director at Hult Prize Foundation. Furthermore, he has been a strong advocate of promoting social media for change and was the founder of Social Media for Change (SM4CH).

As an Ambassador at One Young World and a Shaper at GlobalShapers, Abad has a remarkable ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively across cultures. He has also served as an Environmental Affairs Adviser & Policy Intern at the Ecuador National Assembly and as a European International Cooperation Intern at Secretaría Técnica de Cooperación Internacional (SETECI).

Besides his professional experience and skills, Abad's interests lie in global migration and youth empowerment, as evidenced by his involvement in the Global Migration Team at UNMGCY and his roles as Secretary General at the Ecuadorian Youth Ambassador's Network and Co-Founder at the International Youth Ambassadors Network.
