HarLau Productions recently acquired the rights to the documentary, 'Steps to Redemption The Dave Hill Story';  It's a classic story of a man's struggle to conquer both nature and adversity.  It also brings awareness to PTSD, which really needs more exposure.  It is the story of one man's courage to hike an 8,000+ foot trail up the side of an active volcano at the age of 55 after an accident that physically and mentally injured him, and after years of physical and emotional struggle.  This is a true and powerful story of one man seeking redemption and has the determination to do this one more time.

As Director  -  Executive Producer  -  Producer  -  Casting Director for the Feature Film 'Inimicus' I acquired the screenplay for the short film in May, 2020.  I immediately sought and signed a Private Investor for the development portion of the project, acquiring a Consultant as well as a Screenwriter to build out the short film screenplay.I am also seeking investors/financing for the production of my film(s). HarLau Productions' mission statement is to develop, finance, produce and distribute Feature Films and Short Films, including Web Series, that deal in various genres.  This will be done by purchasing screenplays from writers around the country and possibly the globe.  Being a professional writer is not just a moniker but something that is earned.  Writers are very good at their craft and I intend to have their stories told.   HarLau Productions' aim is to ensure that it's films are viewed by mass market global audiences and return profits to the film's investors and all of its profit participants.  My intention is to be working on films that not only offer entertainment to the viewing audience but that also have a purposeful mission.    As well, I have more screenplays coming into the pipeline with development funding, as it’s available.  The process is extremely slow right now, because of the events transpiring in our nation, but I am keeping busy with advancement of screenplays and script reading to make my selections appropriately that align with my production company’s mission.

As Executive Producer, I am currently contracted to secure funding/financing for the film, 'One To Nothing'. Transparency is imperative for all parties involved so as to safeguard the wellbeing of the project and its cast and crew. I am also tasked with negotiating talent salary which will be a vital part of ensuring the fruition of the production and acquiring the personnel we hope to enjoy.

Information collected includes the fact that the missing man made a cash down payment on a classic 1950's Thunderbird.  The missing man was visiting the seller with additional cash the day he went missing. Years later, details about the missing mans diamond ring provide the final link in the chain leading detectives to the person responsible for the murder. The original suspect in the case is brought to justice.
