Health Policy Advisor

Conducted research and analysis on health policy. Collaborated with state legislators on policy and legislative development. Independently managed research and projects. Supported DUPRE senior staff, including review of policies, writing and reviewing legislative reports. Organized and supported senior staff at meetings including agendas, assembling materials, note taking, and providing input. Worked on specific policy areas, including state Medicaid programs, health care legislation, and mental health and substance abuse. Worked closely with private consultants to prepare for committee meetings.

Wyoming Department of Health

Policy

Worked with faculty and staff in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology and Social Work.  Daily office work included helping students and faculty with individual projects.  Coordinated with Social Work faculty on program evaluation and worked with Field Director to manage student internship placements. Researched text books and helped faculty with research projects.

Office Assistant

Worked with 15-20 students on developing oratory, research, and organizational skills.  Supervised students at debate competitions nationally.  Coordinated with coaches to create a positive learning environment for students.
