Scott Frederick is an accomplished economic development specialist with over 25 years of experience in the field. He has worked at local, regional, state, and international levels, successfully locating numerous industries and creating thousands of new jobs. Notable companies he has brought to various communities include Yokohama Tire, Home Shopping Network, Nissan, and Bosch.

Scott was instrumental in the founding of the acclaimed Central Education Center, which offers vocational and apprenticeship programs, and directed the creation of Georgia's first multi-county regional development authority. During his tenure as Director of Economic Development for the Greater Houston Partnership, he oversaw strategic marketing plans that targeted high-growth industry clusters, such as aerospace and aviation, green energy, IT, nanotechnology, and biotechnology.

Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Graduate certificate from the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma.
