Takeshi Fukuhara
Takeshi Fukuhara, a chemical biologist, is currently a scientist at the RIKEN Institute in Japan. Fukuhara’s primary research interests center around neuroimmunology, Parkinson’s disease, immunotherapy, and immunoliposomes. Before joining the RIKEN Institute, Fukuhara was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University and an Assistant Professor at Juntendo University, among other research positions.
Fukuhara has a diverse educational background, having studied at the Tokyo Institute of Technology for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in molecular biology. He also pursued a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
Fukuhara has earned several awards and recognition, including the Best Presentation and Best Business Plan awards at Novartis International Biocamp 2007 in Tokyo. He also participated as a facilitator or invited speaker in various conferences throughout the years.
