Rafael Lemaitre is a seasoned consultant with vast experience in strategy, innovation management, and execution. Throughout his career, he has worked on significant consulting projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Rafael is a multicultural expert, having lived and worked in various countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Netherlands, Bahrain, Qatar, KSA, and Kuwait. He co-founded ShiftIN Partners, a reputable strategy management and innovation consulting firm, and later successfully exited the company through an acquisition by global consulting firm Sia Partners.

Rafael has led numerous consulting engagements, including project managing the development of performance management frameworks for governments such as the Abu Dhabi Government, Bahrain Government, Kuwait Government, and Barcelona Government. He has a particular interest in strategy management in government contexts, including evaluating public policies and the governance mechanisms required to manage them. Rafael has also specialized in managing innovation projects, from defining innovation portfolios to implementing innovation platforms that support organizations in developing and executing their next big thing.

Rafael earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the UDLAP, a Master of Science degree in Maritime Economics and Logistics from the Rotterdam School of Management, and a PhD in Innovation from the United Nations University – Maastricht University. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional, a Certified Strategy Execution Specialist, and a Certified Innovation Management Professional.
