Nyu Wang (Claire)
Nyu (Nu) Wang has a diverse background in policy analysis, AI, and international relations. She is currently a staff member at the United Nations New York headquarters while completing her PhD in AI and policy at Virginia Tech. Wang's expertise and experience have resulted in several publications on AI, robot judges, and social justice in leading academic journals such as Springer Nature, IEEE, and ACM. Additionally, she has served at the World Bank Group's Chief Information Security Officer's office and was a consultant to the Executive Secretary of UNEP/CMS at the United Nations. As a guest editor for the AI and Ethics Journal by Springer Nature, Wang remains committed to addressing the ethical implications of emerging technologies on society.
