Jim Hogan, a seasoned veteran of the semiconductor design and manufacturing industry, has gained over four decades of experience as a senior executive and board director in various companies. He is currently the managing partner of Vista Ventures, LLC, and also serves as a strategic advisor to several private and public companies.

Jim has a strong educational background, having studied BA/BS Math/Physics/CS MBA at San Jose State University. He has served as a board director in various companies, including Bluespec, Breker Verification Systems, Silicon Catalyst, OneSpin Solutions, and Amida Technology Solutions. He has also been the Chairman of Metrics Technologies, AGGIOS, Inc., and AutoESL.

Additionally, Jim is a philanthropist and has previously served as a board director/investor/advisor in companies that have been acquired, such as Atrenta Inc., Scoperta Inc., CLK Design Automation, and others. His expertise lies in electronic design automation, intellectual property, semiconductor equipment, material science, and IT companies.
