Daniel Bertschi is a successful professional who has experience in both the music industry and the software space. He began his career as a Principal Timpanist with the RTE Concert Orchestra, the orchestra of the national Irish broadcaster. After working in the music industry for several years, he decided to change course and moved into the software space. Daniel currently manages the JAPAC Solutions Engineering team across Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney at HubSpot, a company that focuses on inbound marketing automation software.

Daniel is a highly skilled individual with an MSc in Computer Science and an MA in Music, both with First Class Honours. His experience in various roles at HubSpot, including Principal II Sales Engineer & Team Lead APAC, Principal Sales Engineer & Team Lead APAC, Principal Sales Engineer APAC, Principal Sales Engineer EMEA, Senior Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Associate Sales Engineer, and Senior Support Engineer, demonstrate his expertise in the software space.

Outside of work, Daniel has experience as a Freelance Percussionist/Timpanist at various orchestras in Switzerland and as a Principal Timpanist (Section Leader) at Orquestra do Norte, Amarante, Portugal.
