Teck Lai is a seasoned electrical and electronic manufacturing professional with over 20 years of experience in the automotive, medical device, aerospace, and defense industries. With a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree under his belt, Teck Lai has worked for top-tier companies such as NEC and Mitsubishi, Renesas Electronics America, Steelheart International, and more. He is a pioneer engineer in NEC's new semiconductor factory in Hiroshima, Japan and is fluent in Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Teck Lai specializes in total quality management, including product development, process control, risk assessment, high-impact project management, and Lean Manufacturing. He has expertise in ISO Quality Management, audits and CAPA management, global manufacturing operations, product and process development, and more. He is also skilled in DFM Reports and BOE Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma), supply chain, and supplier quality management, among others.
Furthermore, Teck Lai has education certificates from UC Davis and American River College, and he is currently the Quality Program Manager at PRIDE Industries. He holds professional affiliations with Guidepoint Advisor/Hanna Interpreter and NEO Tech as a Manager of Continuous Process Improvement and Facilities.
