Jessica Anderson, also known as Jessica Lá Rel, is a Chicago-based alternative soul singer, songwriter, and activist, with a passion for using music to inspire social change. With a Bachelor's degree in African-American/Black Studies from Stanford University, Jessica has dedicated her life to her craft and making the world a better place. Recently, Jessica released her debut music project, an unapologetically soulful EP titled Four Freedoms.

Her background in education also includes teaching at Centre of Science & Technology - Khayelitsha and working as an Academic Support Assistant at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Stanford.
